The Arizona Cardinals and Tyler Murray lost their first game of the year on the last play of the game and went down to the Greenbay Packers by a score of 24 - 21. It was a disappointing end to a great comeback by Tyler Murray and the Cardinals. Aaron and the Packers controlled the game, ran the ball well and ran time off the clock, but Tyler had an opportunity to win or tie this game as time ran out, but AJ Green never saw the ball Tyler threw to him, instead the ball was interceped and game over.
Thursday's Night Football Game will be a battle between Aaron Rogers and Tyler Murray. Rogers is the grizzly veteran quarterback of the Green Bay Packers going against the young kid, Kyler Murray. Thursday Night Football promises to be perhaps one of the best games of the season. The Arizona Cardinals 7 and oh, will host the Green Bay Packers 6 and one, in a game that just might decide the route in which the NFC playoffs goes through later on, as these two teams prepare for battle against each other.
The absence of Packers receiver Davante Adams for Thursday's game doesn't sit well in the opinion of sportsbooks. They have made the Cardinals a 6 point favorite to win at State Farm Stadium, located in Glendale, Arizona. Green Bay has covered in its last six games, and are underdogs for only the second time this season. Led by quarterback Tyler Murray, the Cardinals offense has scored 30 or more points in all but one game this season, while the Packers are riding a six-game winning streak following their opening week loss to the Saints.
Murray has completed 73.5% of his passes for 2,002 yards and 17 touchdowns with just five interceptions. He’s also has run the football, 43 times for 126 yards and three touchdowns. The Cardinals currently have the second-best offense in the NFL, putting up 422.6 yards per game through seven contests while scoring 32.1 points per game. The Packers have the reigning MVP in Rodgers, but the Cardinals may boast the current MVP. Quarterback Kyler Murray has been incredible for Arizona’s Kliff Kingsbury-led offense.
I am picking Arizona to go 8-0 on Thursday night. Our Tyler Murray is having a great year and the defense is playing exceptionally well. The Packers are not going to be at full strength and again when it comes to the battle of the quarterbacks, I am picking Tyler to have a great night before a National Television Audience. Tyler will outplay the veteran Aaron Rogers.
